Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Biz Up Consulting LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company doing business as BizUp ("BizUp", "we", "us"), collects through gobizup.com, the live review demo, the website chat and text messages, and what we do with it. Questions: support@gobizup.com.

What we collect

• When you ask us to contact you (the "Book a call" form): your name, business name, mobile number, email if you give it, and whether you ticked the box to receive text messages. If you came from the review demo, the Google Place ID of the business you looked up.
• When you use the live review demo: the business name you search for, or the business name and review text you paste. To produce the demo we send these to Google (to look up the business and its public reviews) and to Anthropic, our AI provider (to write the draft replies). We do not store the reviews, the pasted text or the replies.
• When you use the website chat: the messages and any contact details you type, which go to our customer messaging system so we can answer.
• When you text or call us: your phone number and the messages or call details.
• Technical information: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site, block abuse (including a human check on the demo) and count visits without tracking cookies. The demo also limits how many requests one connection can make; that counter is short-lived.

How we use it

• To answer your request, set up a call and provide the services you sign up for.
• To run the live demo you asked for.
• To keep the site secure and working.
• With your separate consent, to send you text messages (see below).

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Text messages (SMS)

If you tick the consent box on our form, or text us first, BizUp may send you text messages about your request and our services. Consent is optional and is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages and HELP for help, or email us.

Mobile information, including your phone number and your text-messaging consent, is never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the service providers that deliver the messages for us. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who process it for us, under their own privacy and security commitments: our customer relationship and messaging platform (HighLevel), our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare), Google (business lookups in the demo), and Anthropic (AI drafts in the demo). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Our clients' customers

When a business uses BizUp to answer its calls, messages and reviews, the information about that business's own customers belongs to that business. We process it on their behalf and under their instructions. Questions about it are best sent to that business.

How long we keep it

We keep contact details while we are talking with you or serving you, and for as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting reasons afterwards. Demo content is not kept.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing support@gobizup.com. Residents of some states, including California, have additional rights under state law; we honour those requests too and will not treat you differently for making one.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
